Iphone Update Problems 3.1.2

problem of iPhone update 3.1.2.?

I just did an update as requested by iTunes on my iPhone 3G is Jailbroken. I leave the run and he got stuck in a loop recovery. Now, I can make it work, but will not make calls, the carrier's logo is missing and there is no Settings option of operator. Does anyone have any idea how can I fix this? Have you tried a soft reset? Menu center of the bottom of the phone button, and waits for the right of the phone? It is worrying as my iPhone 3Gs probably update in about 3 days, and I do not want him to do the same thing ..
