How do I disable AVG antivirus?

I need to turn it off for about 30 minutes while I sync my iPhone. How can I turn it off? Thanks

AVG i have and sometimes it sucks xD can open it and when you see all the icons of AVG, click the right mouse button and disable or you can add folders or programs like iTunes on your resident shield to make you click the resident shield and then go to manage exceptions;)
