Pros: Construction of high quality. Attractive, successful patented Hybrid Graphics System (not requires restart), lightweight and thin. DDR3 memory, long battery life, connectivity, HDMI with audio transmission, Windows 7, very portable.
Cons: video card the same as outdated Z790 VGN previous model, the high price. Lots of bloatware, project slightly fragile speakers still.

Packaging:
The packaging of the product is within the same pattern as the previous model. Depending on where you get it, it can be involved in a cardboard box containing another cardboard box, and so on. Like the previous model, there is really nothing interesting here … The laptop is wrapped, there is no guarantee / operational information, the lithium ion rechargeable battery and AC adapter.

Here I go again reiterate that the connections are. Because so small, the VGN-Z890 certainly has a lot of useful links.

Note: The cable to recharge the battery is located on the hinge of the laptop. We found this to be a bit of pain, as you waste a lot of cable, if your nearest outlet is located in the opposite direction of your port.
Display:
Given their small size of the screen, this notebook is easy to open anywhere, including on airplanes (see how it meets the executives?) The VGN-Z890 has a 13.1 "widescreen LED display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. This screen is run on a 16:9 widescreen format, which is perfect for watching movies. The LED backlight keeps consumption power and weight of an all-time low, and the screen with XBRITE technology-DuraView. This technology offers additional scratch protection to your LCD screen – something very necessary for such a small laptop and thin.
Processor
Intel P9700 is one of the best processors, energy efficiency for a notebook of this size, with an additional cost of $ 150 to upgrade from the P8800. TheP9700 features 6MB of L2 cache, and operates in 2.8GHz. It uses the 45nm architecture is run at 28W, with 1066 MHz FSB.
Video Card:
Once again, Sony chooses to use the same system of hybrid card video as before. The VGN-Z890 uses 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS and Intel GMA 4500MHD with Intel Clear Video Technology. The patented hybrid that Sony uses to switch between the two graphics cards without restarting the computer. The 9300M is able to run more demanding games and applications, and can run the 4500M HD / Blu-Ray, giving more battery life. Both cards are compatible with DirectX 10 as well.
