squaretrade.com is a fraud, as far as the insurance for the iPhone?

I'm about to be getting a 16GB iPhone 3Gs. I want to make sure about that one because I seems to have bad bad luck with phones. ive read about them in some places saying they were a good place. I wanted to have someone in a response of people. it's only $ 120 for 2 years to cover my phone, or $ 8.99. please help me make sure this is legit before I put $ 120 into something that's not cool.
