Can Lg Phones be Unlocked
How do I get an unlocked LG enV phone on Sprint's network?
I am interested in the new LG enV phone and noticed a post that asked about their placement on AT & T / Cingular network. In one of the answers someone said it was possible to put it on Sprint's network which is what I am what I was wondering how, if it really is possible.
Well There are a couple of factors that come into play here. As you said the phone must be unlocked. Also, you need to see if Sprint is able or willing to carry their programming to the phone so that it will work on your network. In my experience, they are unable to do so. It is easier with the phones from AT & T and T-Mobile because they have SIM cards that already have the program loaded on them. Thus, if the phone is unlocked you just have to add a SIM card and function. It is not true for the other carriers though.
