Htc Phones in Australia

3G iPhone or HTC Touch Diamond?
I currently have a Nokia N95 which is dying, so I think it's time to replace it. I like the iPhone, but it is seriously overpriced here in Australia, and I just want an unlocked phone as I already have a contract. I really like the HTC Touch Diamond, and it seems similar to the iPhone. Not sure which way to go at this point, but the HTC is much cheaper. Thoughts?
I'd say go for the HTC Diamond. I do not like the iPhone 3G and I think it has many important characteristics.
