Nokia N Series Touch

Boxing Day 2009 will bring the long awaited Nokia N900 Nokia mobile phone. Nokia recently announced that its mobile device N900 will be available in stores Carphone Warehouse retail on 26 December (Boxing Day), the day after Christmas. Vodafone will have the Nokia N900, 7 January 2010.

Both Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone already begun to take pre orders, but Carphone will really make an entrance long before Vodaphone in London, United Kingdom market.

The N900 will be the last series of Nokia mobile devices based on Linux. Be the first will feature mobile voice and data capabilities, transforming it into a smartphone, while their previous models had only Wi-Fi

Nokia said the new platform Maemo 5 will be PC as a computing experience in a mobile form factor cell.

The Nokia N900 has a touch screen 3.5-inch high-resolution, together with a full slide the qwerty keyboard. He also has the Mozilla browser, Ovi Nokia Maps and Adobe Flash Player 9.4. The phone has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics, flash Dual LED and Geo tagging.

It is based on an ARM Cortex – A8 processor with 1GB of memory for applications and 32GB of storage, which can be expanded up 48GB with a microSD memory card slot.
