Should i get the HTC Touch Phone?

I like to text a lot. and this is the only thing that is stopping me from buying the HTC touch phone. But it that much of a big problem for me not to buy the phone because it has no keyboard. is really hard to text with this phone that people say it is? PS – The money would not be problem for me.
