which phone is better? Motorola MOTO Q Music 9m from Verizon or from tmobile sidekick lx?

Q does have purpose and MSN Messenger? if not How can I get these.

Probably the assistant to the phone and not the T-Mobile Service. The MOTO Verizon does not come with the IM. But there are several IM services you can download online. There are others who are not as good and others you pay for. But in general you will spend more money with Verizon, since cost much more for basic service. But Sidekcik is better.
