I sold a new Motorola RAZR phone to a Canadian and it can not activate the phone.?
I sold this phone to a few on eBay in a phone Canada.The is new. It is marked by a company cell phone. It is also included in the manual. She is asking for subsidy code to unlock the vendor I got it from. But I do not get it from any provider. I got this new Motorola RAZR V3i phone from a friend who does deals in mobile phones. My friend told me it should work any card sims. I sold the same phone to someone in Florida and they have no problem. What should I say to this person in Canada ?????
If the phone is not really locked, it should not matter if it is in Canada or Cuba, but should work. There are two GSM providers in Canada: Fido and Rogers (which now owns Fido). I used my Rogers SIM unlocked phones U.S. many times. Where did your friend get the phone? If he got it from Motorola, please contact them and they do not have the code or have to reflash the firmware.
