There is a place where I can buy the phones like Motorola Walkie Talkie Nextel phones but unlocked?
I live in Dubai and we service Push To Talk. I have not found a good phone with PTT. I want to Motorola and I was wondering if I buy an unlocked version, will work in Dubai? Is there anyway I can use Motorola iDEN phones with GSM? Dubai has 3G service, but I do not know if that helps. What do you suggest?
It will only work there if their service is iDEN. Nextel iDEN phones are and will only work with another iDEN provider is unlocked. If your service is GSM, it will not work. EDIT: No, iDEN and GSM technologies are not compatible. iDEN phones can be used only with a supplier of iDEN, GSM phones can be used with a GSM provider.
