What can I do with a blackberry unlocked?

I just got an unlocked blackberry curve 8310, which was originally used for AT & T. I'm using it for T-Mobile. I can download applications BlackBerry? or send MMS? its unlocked which means it works for any GSM operator. I got my T-Mobile SIM card in the blackberry and I can call and text, I just need to know how I can download apps.

you can not do anything without an active SIM card. you could take pictures or play games on it, but no way to send them or download anything, you could try to sell it if you do not want to get the air
