Blackberries are mobile phones more high end you can get?

Or at least up there? Moreover, they are really worth worth getting? I had all of AT & T, Sprint, Verizon, and now T-Mobile. After my contract expires, I'm just starting to think of a Blackberry. I pay them and what not, it's really outrageous, I do not understand why celebrities get them, and because they are seen as the most high-end accessory you may have. They are highly spoken and I want to know the ups and downs with them, and also have good plans and coverage, or you're going to pay eend 100 dollars per month for them.
