Versus 3G or 4G and Used Cell Phones

Refurbished and Used Cell Phones are capable of 3G and 4G speeds while costing less than comparable technology, that come straight from the factory. Refurbished BlackBerry Mobile Phones are very cheap compared with their counterparts in brand new, even though they run the latest technologies such as 3G and 4G.

About 85% of worldwide users of mobile phones are running or the 2G or 3G technology. Although considered relatively slow, with limited data rates, 2G is preferred by more than 70% of the cellular market.

In recent years, new network technologies are being developed to provide data transfer at competitive prices and greater bandwidth – such as 3G. 3G offers up to 2Mbps speed data transfer, but in practical terms its speed is close to 400kbps. Three-quarters of mobile phone users still prefer to 2G on the new network technology. That may soon change.

HP and a Japanese development company, NTT DoCoMo, are developing a new technology, 4G. It is estimated that the 4G technology will be launched in Japan in the next 6 years. There is enough detail about this new technology so we can not compare it to anything we have now, but it seems to be much faster, with higher bandwidth, and cheaper – or in one word: better.

Whad we know about 4G is that, with 4G, we will be able to make a video call conferencing – 3 or more calls – and the video will be transferred much smoother, thanks to greater bandwidth. These devices will have wireless internet in band wider than the used for 2G technologies, never before seen in a mobile phone – 100MHz, it will also reduce the costs of large data transfers, and make video and downloads music cheaper. New security features will help better protect users from theft and fraud, and network security will be much tighter.

Transfer speed reaches new levels with new technology: up to 1 Gbps (!). Some features that should be included with 4G seem as if they were taken from a sci-fi movie about the future. Researchers are working on the resources that allow the User's mobile phone to know the direction from which the call is coming and how far is the caller. In addition, we will be able to speak with our other senses as well, or without having to use our vocal chords at all. These features probably not be ready in time for the launch of 4G, but the developers promise to "come in time for 5G."

However, before we 4G technology, the United States will soon have a kind of in-between the 3G technology dubbed super. Not much information about this technology, and that is predicted to have a high-speed data transfer up to 100Mbps.
