After lunch today, my friends and got our fortune cookies and each one opened them to see our luck (and, you know, eat the cookie).

With the mass-produced nature of the fortune cookie to be known as (Santa and the Tooth Fairy are, of course, still credible), it is difficult to get my hopes is a real fortune. And do not get me started on the lottery numbers on the back.

This specific lot of wealth was, in my opinion, especially disappointing. Bear with me while I share them with you.

You get your goal if you keep your course. Of course this job, and I understand that, but I'm not even sure that is a fortune so much as a mantra. Let's try and see … "I will achieve my goal if I keep my course … I will get my goal if I keep my course … I will get my goal if I keep my current "Do you feel it? could work, I suppose.

Now is a good time to call a loved one, a distance from you. Are we finally at a point in human history, where the translation can be much closer to 100% English? I mean, I live about 12 miles from the geographical center of the U.S. No matter where you come from, you have to travel through a maximum English-speakingness to get to Kansas. Moreover, "Now is a good time to call a distant loved one" would use less ink. Bonus fun fact: no so much a fortune as a feeling of guilt.

Time is a wise. Ask for advice from someone older than you. Really? Making 14 years of age to read your fortune cookie fortunes? Perhaps this is a bit of luck, if you consider that in my future that I will have a board needs days. Unfortunately, it is as deep as "Breathe, the air is all around Earth.

You will always be surrounded by true friends. At least this had the air of fortune-ism about it. And that allowed me to deliver a humorous, "Hey, your fortune has come true" (you had to be there). Of course, he'll always be true? hmmm.

It's sad as unimportant as it became the industry's fortune cookie. If the quality continues to deteriorate, I may have to give up open the cookies at all.

In fact, I do not accept what passes for a fortune today. It makes me wonder if someone in the industry of the fortune cookie is still concerned with my future anymore? In our always-on, instant access, it has everything-now culture, maybe they are filling a niche I never knew was there. Maybe we do not want to hear our future only positive thing about our present life.

How long until retailers and marketing heros come to a form of wealth in transition lame lame even more $ $ $ worth of advertising?

I'm really surprised that McDonald's has capitalized on this by offering as fortune cookies a choice of desert with a fortune inside that says you will save 25 cents worth of your next meal, if you surround yourself with more friends.

And why limit it to food? Verizon may have your BlackBerry spit a fortune that says you will get 5 free text messages if you call a loved one in the next Is 20 minutes away.

Google may be missing a huge gold mine here Click here for your fortune – Google makes a wise. Search for advice from a more older than Bing.

Of course, a fortune cookie Franklin Covey may cost $ 24.95, but their fortunes could include a valuable clue to reach their potential using a The 7 Habits, you can succeed if you keep your current True North.

You heard it here first. The point is that the giant will be the first to implement my idea? With the current trend, the fortune, I say to the industry's fortune cookie, can we really be surprised by something you read? Is anything read more believable?
