What are the pros and cons of an unlocked iPhone?

help me in this situation, I need to know how I can decide for information an iPhone that is unlocked. What is good and what is bad?

Hrm .. I'm not an expert phone really .. but I think the good thing is you can use the phone with various service providers and perhaps there is some added functionality also … the last part I'm unsure. The bad thing is that in other providers of phone services, of course, not all the features of the iPhone will work .. particularly those linked to your service provider. Also, any insurance or warranty for the phone can be set aside for walk with her doing things like unlocking it. In which case Apple or AT & T may not be able to help you if something goes wrong in an unlocked phone. Obviously, if your using the iPhone with a phone service that does not really support iPhones, they may not be able to help you too. Also, depending on how well it is unlocked, I believe that the phone software is set to disable some features such as media player, if not connected to an authorized service provider iPhone .. ie, AT & T, if your in the U.S.. Certain methods believe that ignoring .. but functions of the phone provider specific still should not work. In general, for the average person, I would recommend against .. besides who really wants to be on the bad Steve Job's;)
