Blackberry Freezes

Is there any updates / patches for the Blackberry Pearl to work with Windows Vista?

I have a couple of computers running Windows XP and BB Pearl works nice. But, I upgraded one of my computers to Windows Vista and when I try to install the BlackBerry Pearl Software, only frozen. Any suggestions?

In time, the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software, which was released to support Vista Operationg Systems is version 4.2 Service Pack 2. This is the only version to support Vista and need to be installed on your computer before installing the software on your handheld to the BlackBerry Pearl in the BlackBerry itself. All versions of the desktop below 4.2 Service Pack 2 will not work with Vista.
