Most people I train in Microsoft Outlook do not use their tasks, they start, then after a few days will return to your old system. Tasks Outlook is extremely affordable and can be synchronized with most current cell phones and PDA's and BlackBerry. Here are 5 tips that can help you to use the task list for the long term.
1. Finally your list by dragging and dropping the input to the desired position. In order that you can see the order in which you want or need to complete the list.
2. Synchronize with your phone or PDA. You will be able to view and update your list to go. Also great if you to add information to the task, then, when you return to your computer, you can sync and all entries will be updated and all additional entries will be added.
3. Create a view that shows only the task to do. By filtering the list to show pending tasks will help when you some completed, your list will decrease, rather than showing all entries completed or not.
4. If you have an e-mail that contains information on the job, attach it to the task using object insertion. You can attach it as an icon or enter as the body of the task. If the task is open, the e-mail can be dragged and dropped into the body of the task. If you would like to create a new task from the email, drag and drop e-mail to the tasks of position. The new task appears with the subject as the subject of the task and the rest of the email as the body.
5. Set task reminders to an alarm, the same one for appointments, displayed. I think all phones, PDAs and smartphones have remembered the alarm and alerted me.
