I sold my iPhone lately. Well PSU lost. The buyer opened a dispute, I told him that I will not give you a refund, because the post is not lost on me and now he made a complaint. I contacted ebay live chat support. I told them my story and told me not to give a reimbursement since I hold the item and is not my fault the postal lost. So pal pay has the option to upload photos to help your case. I uploaded the reception the PSU with a miniature delivery. and insurance. The buyer never responded. Now he says it pays pal is reviewing my case. And now? I sent 2 photos. 1 of proof of shipping and other that ebay told me to do. As he did not answer I get money? ** Now paypal again tried to contact the buyer. Was to review phase but is now back to waiting for another party. This is crap. If he will not answer, I would like to receive the funds.
Here is the bottom line: 1. Insurance. The person who pays for insurance coverage will probably have to file the application (think: you pay for car insurance and an accident happens when both sides are technically still missing – to each insurance company pays the insured vehicle to your own). If the buyer purchased the insurance, the buyer wanted to protect themselves from any risk of loss or damage. If the seller (you) pay for insurance, then you are covering up the risk. Typically, the buyer pays the cost of insurance, because you already have paid the seller and the point of insurance is to protect the buyer …. Unless the buyer wants to screw you over, get your payment back and collect on the insurance. DO NOT COLLECT SHIPPING INSURANCE BUYER AND THAT MONEY BY PAYPAL, because he still could keep going dispute, win and you lost everything! MAKE SURE THE BUYER AGREES TO END DISPUTE insurance money Collect You FIRST! 2. Cost of phone: If you have insurance (regardless of who paid for it), and that was for the entire cost of the phone and mail, this may be a moot point, as you can go and make a complaint to the phone missing. Only one file insurance claim and get the money back. However, this does not resolve the question of who pays the insurance (ie, he wanted to "protect" the possible loss, theft, etc.). "5. PayPal tends to side with the buyer, especially since this case was probably filed under "never received" item. The best scenario here would be to have PayPal to cover the loss to the buyer, not take their funds away, and you file summary: If the buyer wins the dispute: you lose your phone costs + + that the buyer pays the phone, but you probably get to collect on insurance, you will end with a balance of $ 0 (I think it's a risk you take when you sell online). The danger here is that the buyer receives pmt accident + wins this fight, then you lost the phone + the price of the item you sold! That would suck If you win the battle: you allow the buyer collect insurance and you keep paying the buyer. That way, nobody loses anything, other than the insurance company. *** In fact, having to keep the money for the item sold and allowing the buyer to collect on the insurance may be the way to go. Contact buyer directly, ask buyer if he / she is ready to collect on the insurance if he / she finishes the race! *** So I thought that everyone would be happy. Final: be prepared for a negative feedback on their profile, unless this is a very nice buyer. This is inevitable, you can contact eBay negative feedback on the game, and as well, but the customer service eBay is even worse than PayPal, If you can believe (both are the same company now).
