What are the tips and tricks for Samsung Rant (M540)?

So I just got a Samsung Rant and i got it from Sprint. That now, I pretty much I know on my phone. But theres one thing I really want to do, but he will not let me set my mp3 music as ringtone or message my alert tone, unless the sprint blocked such features. Any ideas anyone?

I just do my own touches to Venton. This is what you do Step1 a) upload a file mp3 or b) use any video from youtube to make a ringtone of your site step2 cut the file in seconds however you want with your free online ringtone maker after step3 you finish making the touch (not press the send button for the phone), click on the customer sprint free internet "step4 button that will take the SPRINT FREE RINGTONES WITHOUT INTERNET PAGE step5 click a link in the middle of the page step6 wait a few seconds and then you will see a link to download the ringtone sprint new file specially formatted step7 download that file (which must be in .3 g2 format, not in mp3 format) to the DCIM folder (memory card).
