HELP! Sony Ericsson!?

I recently bought a Sony Ericsson slide, and I'm trying to import the photos that I have my laptop there. But when I plug it into my laptop, nothing comes, and I have to look to click to download images. Moreover, on the phone screen, it says PREPARATION FOR TRANSFER FILE, but nothing ever happens. What should I do?

are u sure u do not need any driver or software? it should work …. try a different USB port
