Sony Ericsson joined forces with the acclaimed tattoo artist Ed Hardy and designer Christian Audigier to give us the Sony Ericsson W595 Ed Hardy Edition. For those unfamiliar with his work, Ed Hardy is a world-renowned tattoo artist, in collaboration with fashion designer Christian Audigier, has its own line of clothing. Devotees of the brand Ed Hardy fashionista include England and football legend David Beckham, Hip Hop star Lil Wayne and pop princess Britney Spears, to name a few.

The phone has a presence striking design by Ed Hardy, who takes the W595 normally shy and retiring. In front, classic art as Ed Hardy skulls, snakes, tigers and floral patterns mingled with everyone at the same time the phone keys on the back blank space better accommodates higher motives, such as the military style "Death Before Dishonor" badge and signature brand Ed Hardy. Let's get one thing straight, which is not shrinking violet, is a seriously cool phone that requires your attention. If you're after something subtle, look elsewhere. The specifications of the phone is practically a carbon copy of the W595 original (except for Ed Hardy some wallpapers and other niceties). The phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera with video capture and a secondary front facing camera for video calling. If that does not deliver it, the W595 also has HSDPA connectivity reaching speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps. Characteristics of Walkman (this is still a Walkman phone after all), the W595 Walkman has had an excellent one that has the best qualities of sound from any portable device including music players dedicated. Parallel to this, also get the usual allotment of extras like TrackID to identify music from a short clip recording, Shake control it to skip tracks with a flick of the wrist and SensMe that creates playlists for different moods. The phone also has a penalty of up to 8GB of expandable memory (using Sony's Memory Stick Micro M2 format) so you can really dump that MP3 player.

The original W595 was a real workhorse, with a long list of specifications, good size and weight and high quality construction.
