It's been well over a year since the initial announcement of RIM's BlackBerry that they were to launch a device with the name BlackBerry Bold 9000, forums and blogs, enthusiast phone lit up with the prospect of a super slim Blackberry device offers the latest technology and design.
Well, a year the unit has finally reached the coasts of the United Kingdom and over the past weeks, the forums and blogs have been putting out rumors of its release date. The Blackberry Bold was finally launched, but was signed off as a network exclusive to the Orange UK network.

Consumers can only buy the Blackberry Bold, to take a 12 or 18 months contract agreement with Orange, those who would like the device on a network other than the United Kingdom will have to wait for this initial exclusive period to end and down the other networks to pick up phone.
This means that consumers only have the choice of orange tariffs that are more commonly known by the names of animals, ie: Dolphin, Panther and Canary Islands. There is no way to compare offers and counter offers packages of other networks, to the limited time launch is over.
It will only be at this point that consumers will discover if they have bought the new Blackberry Bold on Orange, in fact, get a competitive business. Although there a good range of fares on offer from the network became clear that some consumers on the basis of operators in the history of customer service and one very important fact – Orange block devices to your network.
This means that if a consumer buys a Blackberry Bold on Orange, even when the networks of other releases this phone numbers will still be locked to Orange, they may only be able to use an orange SIM card registered. Device primarily designed for an enterprise BlackBerry Bold 9000 would not be complete without the traditional PIM functionality, organizer, calendar, document viewer and editor or voice dialing and built-in handsfree.
Although initially released exclusively on Orange in the UK, the new BlackBerry Bold, will soon be available in other mobile networks, so if consumers do not want the hassle of owning a cellular network blocked the advice is to wait for the other networks to get their hands on this phone new and exciting.
