Since I got my new phone, I lost the VZ Navigator the ancient line of phones had to offer. Now I have to deal with the Google maps and it is very difficult to drive and constantly check your phone where you're going … There is a way for Google Maps to give verbal instructions from the phone as a GPS navigator normal? The Eris Droid does not currently offer voice navigation – or navigation at all. Only the basic Google Maps. Motorola Droid has voice navigation integrated with Google Maps This feature is available only with the Android 2.0 and higher, what Motorola has. Currently, Eris is Droid 1.5, and hoping that Verizon will release an update to Eris Droid (I Eris).
