I just purchased my brand new HP Mini 2140 and I am obsessed with it. Now I have never been more excited to surf the net from my bed, kitchen, bathroom, coffee and wifi course stores. Got it for P23, 995 (about U.S. $ 430) from Pioneer Computers in Villman Robinson.

For me it will always be HP HP in terms of reliability and is the choice hands down compared to the Asus Eee PC and Acer Aspire netbooks

What's 2140 in my Mini? Google Chrome!

Now I'm officially a fan of Google Chrome. In fact, I'm even writing this blog entry via Chrome. Why is perfect for my HP Mini 2041?

1) On the Toolbars! It gives more space to navigate!
2) Speed! Faster than Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox
3) has the safety features and user functionality of Firefox.

What more can I ask? Google Chrome and my HP Mini are best friends.

What facilities are essential in my 2140 Mini?

I'm using my netbook for about a week now. So far so good! It was really worth it! I already downloaded a lot of emulator games, put a lot of photos, surfed countless hours, and music albums downloaded!

Here is my top 5 recommended installations in its Mini 2140:
a) VLC media player – runs faster, with less resources! Plays almost any video and music available.
b) Google Chrome – gives more screen space for the surf. See more details in my previous post!
c) Fox IT Reader – uses less resources than Adobe PDF
d) Open Office instead of MS Office – definitely more convenient and faster!
e) Meebo – All in 1 instant messaging software. Compatible with most software messaging.
