Is the Google phone G1 better than the iPhone?

I heard that the applications available for the G1 is better than the applications available in iPhone because the Android Market is more flexible, which means that anyone can make and download an application for free on the G1, compared to the iPhone which is owned by a large company (apple) for the G1 is more friendly, plus I also heard the iphone sucks for texting, email, etc. compared to G1 has a real keyboard …. so my question is, the G1 actually better than the iPhone?

I also have the G1 and I think is the best phone ever. There very cool applications on the G1. The G1 is so friendly. I hate the iPhone. It only lacks many resources. I do not like how it is just a phone with touch screen. SMS and typing on a touch screen only phone is difficult. I tend to make many mistakes using it. I prefer a full keyboard out rather than G1 has. I love my G1 and would highly recommend for you.
