Will my iPhone work in Mexico, if I am staying at a hotel with wireless?

I'm staying in Cozumel Mexico for 5 days and have an iPhone by AT & T. Im not planning on making any calls, but I was wondering if it will be roaming in the 3G network, while there, if so if I was using a wireless network wire that the hotel provided. Nor have the international data plan for sure. Thanks for any response!
