Google Android Bugs

Conficker The Worm (also known as or Downadup Kido) has infected more than 15 million computers (mainly domestic and small business PCs) between October 2008 – January 2009 and is still out of control. Conficker worm exploits a Microsoft vulnerability (MS08-067) Windows Server Service. Almost all versions Windows are vulnerable (Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 2003, etc.).
This malware is categorized as a "worm" as it spreads itself, without intervention by User. First, the worm attacks Microsoft vulnerability MS08-067 in the Server service that allows remote code execution. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code without authentication on the machine and take complete control of the computer. Secondly, Conficker Worm uses the computational power of the infected machine to perform password brute force attacks to crack passwords for your local network administrator. This will allow the worm to spread through network shares as well. Thirdly, the worm infects removable devices (such as USB drives) with an autorun file that runs once a User connects to the appliance infected removable.
After the worm is set at a computer, it tries to connect to external malicious sites to download more malware on your PC. He also uses the infected computer to connect to external botnets to perform denial of service to other networks or even send e-mails from spam.
Now let's see how to secure and remove that damn worm on our computers.
- The first and most important step is to install the security patch Microsoft MS08-067 vulnerability found on the Microsoft website.
- The second stage (this is optional) is to disable the automatic execution of Windows to the computer is not infected with removable devices. You can find out how to do this through Google search.
- Third important step is to install and use a solid and proven anti-spyware to detect and clean your infected machine. You can scan your computer for the worm to Conficker free use of the best anti software to remove spyware available on the market today.
