IPhone vs. Motorola Droid?

I have an iPhone, and let's be honest, loves apple to restrict what happens in it. I have to break the chain thing do what I want. I went to a Verizon store yesterday to play with the new phone droid with Google by Motorola and loved it. others played with Android phones have been slow, but I was impressed with his speed and ability to multi task and their ability to change batteries and add a micro SD card up to 32 GB. I found the keyboard easy touch to use, as well as the physical keyboard. I guess I'm just curious to see the real owners think droid. (I really do not need any feed back on the iPhone … I just do not like the thing) suggestions / comparisonss would be great. thanks!

I love the phone! Here are some things you will want to know (good and bad). Keep in mind that I'll probably list things much more negative, because I'd rather be that way biased to being called a fanboy. Pros 1. The screen is very beautiful, bright, high resolution. He is not as prone to mess up my old phone because it boasts a capacitive screen. One way you might notice that the icons are the application form is for them and a background, so you can actually see the edges clearly. The text is easy to read, even in small sizes. 2. Screen touch is AWESOME! I have to say that is about 100 times better than the LG Dare, which I had before (which I still think it was very good). Not sure if you'll notice the difference from the iPhone, but is very sensitive and accurate (except occasionally to select links on a web page cluttered. Ampliar still will fix it.) 3. Apps! I love having so many customization options on this phone! Phone does not it? Find a market of Android. O (useful) apps I have are a file manager, graphing calculator, GBA emulator, application, Google Docs, a client's voice mail free visual, text and super customizable program messages (handcent). In addition, I also have the software built in maps, and a killer app and widget battery. 4. Multiple menus with shortcuts home. I have three menus home (there are applications for more information), where I put my most used apps or do I just want quick access, and dial for some direct contacts (reminiscent of the Favorites menu in Dare) 5. Browser is fast, very functional, can have several windows open at once. 6. Contact integration with Gmail / Facebook is invaluable to me. 7. The notification system is very intelligent. 8. Keyboards. I never texted very quickly, but the wit of the hardware keyboard HThe I can type in ~ 20 wpm (I have an application to test it!) The virtual keyboard is also good, because they have error correction and very good prediction word. I actually use it in the picture! Cons 1. Battery life sucks. I think it's mainly because I have to use it very hard (I used sparsly and today is 40% (approximately 16 hours)), but I killed him, carried back to full life and almost killed him again in the course of a day earlier. 2. Hardware keyboard is not that great. I've seen keyboards that are much better, ie more space, better shape / contour, etc.. but I still consider it highly usable especially because it opens the screen very more property. 3. The camera takes a very long way to take pictures, auto focus, leaves much to be desired. Disappointing, but overall not really "bad." It could be a lto better still, waiting for a software update to fix this. 4. 4 buttons at the bottom of the bottom of the screen does not include one or send finish. There is a huge con but a little misleading. 5. Software maps can occasionally be very wrong. 6. No flash player! Come on! 7. Music player is pretty bland. No is great until you consider the total absence of equalizers and no synchronization software. It's the kind of sum. Not a big deal if you can drag and drop, but the memory is just slow enough causes a problem (class 2 micro SD card) 8. It connects to my Wi-Fi, but does not appear to work. It could just be my network, maybe not. 3G is always faster. 9. Not all apps in the store are compatible with the Android 2.0, lots not optimized yet. Actually, I have a program that will force me to turn the phone off (crash), because it does not work on Android 2.0 The Droid works on 2.0, which is the newest operating system Android. I tried to compare it with the iPhone as little as possible so you can judge it on its own merit. If you just try it you can see for yourself that one of your own. Hopefully this will help you know what to look for :-)
