Google Android in Canada?
I live in Canada and has a Magic HTC with Android on it. I'm with Rogers, because they were the only ones with 3G towers in my small town. I want to know about the firmware updates (ie, the Android 2.1). Will it automatically give me the update for free? And how can I update (legally) to 2.0.1?
The updates are free, and I think that when the firmware updates are available, will be up to the carrier (Rogers, in his case) to push it to the phone, but not for every client at once, it will be staggered. At least that's how their status in the U.S. … (hell most of the phones here do not have 2.0, only the Droid / Milestone, which was released with it)
