I want to buy the G1 Andriod phone in India. Any idea how I should go about it?

There were rumors about the launch of Google Android phone (G1) in India (sometime in December). No updates since then. I want the phone. Anyone who managed to get the phone and know a way trusted to do this?

Because you can not order it from T-Mobile Web site? Or by phone through T-Mobile?
