All advertising worked since I stopped to check the new Droid from Verizon Wireless. It was a case of instant love and the touch screen had a feeling different buttons that I was used. However, there was one feature that stood out and made all the difference between the phones and other smart Droid. The speed Internet … talking about blazing fast!
One thing that I could not function without my Microsoft Outlook. Outlook for me to take this home phone, it should be able to synchronize. Vendors have assured me that the Droid does sync with Outlook. I could not say "sold very" fast.
Then I arrived at the office, BIG problem. Droid does not sync with Outlook. After reading through all the online forums, I was dismayed to find my seller had led me astray. After all the research on the subject, I was ready to take my new phone back to the store.
Then I found a solution feasible, a product that will sync my calendar and contacts. There is another company that is working in sync USB for completion sometime in December. I decided that the phone could be.
As I have come to know my Droid a little better, I discovered that he has many interesting features. One of my favorites is the voice activated internet searching. Suffice to say that what you are looking for and within a few seconds, a page of Google search will appear with your results. Since Google is one of my main work tools, this feature will save me a lot of time.
Motorola Droid also combines all your contacts in one main contact page. I took my contacts on Facebook and my Outlook contacts and merged them into a home contact, very nice. There was only one pair of contacts they had problems, but they were resolved quickly.
I would recommend the new phone Droid to all except those who also should have your Outlook tasks and Notes. These two functions of Outlook will not sync now. This problem will be solved with the USB solution that is in the works for December.
