Droid? You may be wondering what is and what all the fuss is about. Google has been in the works to perfect their newest innovation in font and logo design for the future and are now ready to present it to the public.

Droid is aptly named because of their training and sources of innovation became the biggest rival to the iPhone, Apple, Android. This particular font was created with the collaboration of Google and Ascender, a company based in Illinois, who made drawings logo and its specialty fonts. Ascender has created original fonts and logo designs for various companies, including Motorola and Microsoft.

Creating the source Droid

Despite coming up with an idea, fresh innovative Android, Google wanted to keep several things in mind that they are known. One, Google is famous by his contemporary sources that are easily adapted to the specific theme in use. They did not want something that looks very tech-y, and be harsh look, but wanted a source that would soon captivate the viewer and promote the character of the product. But they did not want the source to be the main reason that the product was purchased, but must be a bonus or extra feature to an already great product.

Of the many proposals that were suggested, two stood out from others. These two were radically different from one another and concluded that creating something in the middle of the two would be perfect, not too tech-y or too inconsistent. Once this decision was made, it was easy to get working on the creation of a source that kept the same basic principles of Google and still remain completely separate. The final product was perfect for the mobile Dream.

The special features of the Droid fonts

Additional features of the Droid font is only available on phones or mobile G1 Android becoming a rare thing to see indeed. Virtually all the features of the phone will be converted to the Droid font, such as address book and messaging features text, among others. And when accessing sites on your phone the source of the site will be converted into one of three sources Droid, or monospace, sans-serif and serif.
