The best rated laptop award changes not only from year to year, but it can and does change so quickly from month to month.
Heck, with the main players in there like Dell, IBM, Compaq and HP to name a few, the competition is absolutely fierce!
But one thing is certain.
This year the best rated laptops all seem to have one thing in common. They are all called Apples!
Apple has had the honor of computing several leading magazines and electronics, and the evolution of sales seems to suggest that consumers are feeling the same about them, too.
Laptops, like the Apple PowerBook and iBook have helped apple stand tall among the main players in the world of computing.
In 2004 alone, Apple announced there was an increase in overall net profit of 300 percent. This equates to a profit of $ 295 million last quarter. And if you are a holder of shares should certainly put a smile on your face. I know it does for me, and a number of my friends.
Sales of single computer model are also showing the same trend. For example, the desktop version of the iPod disappeared off the shelves at a rate of 4.5 million per year. The iMac has tripled its sales!
Apples shares the international market may still be delayed, however. Dell still has top honors, with 18 percent of the world market. HP comes second with 16 percent. And in a distant third, IBM brings in 6 percent of the quota.
Apple can put a dent in those figures with the press, they have been getting lately. Actually, Apple won the Reader's Choice 2004 for the brand with greater impact on an international scale. He hit Google, which had been the winner of this award for two years consecutive.
No matter what best laptops for nominal prizes or the percentage of the world that Apple gets over the next few years, you can be sure that Apple will continue to put innovative products that are known.
Just take a look at the software that is characterized apples laptops and desktop computers. Admiration design applications like iPhoto and iTunes from Apple become so popular, just because these programs are so useful and yet they are so easy to use.

Another point I would like to do. In 2006, we see Apples with Intel chips instead of the current IBM chips. Will this improve the performance of Apple laptops and computers, I do not think so, at least not immediately. But will eventually help Apple grow and expand the market.
