Two weeks ago I blogged about some of the really cool and fun things to do with Google Street View. Well as an interview with CBC Radio Canada (Stay look for it) and great feedback from our subscribers which also caused a great interest around the office to find out what else we can find that can really make a positive impact and bring some order to the maelstrom that is definitely the life.

Enter the BlackBerry, we had a bit of a craze blackberry between us and our customers recently. Not exactly "new" blackberry is still finding it's way to the daily life of ordinary people. However, the Blackberry is fast becoming an essential tool for a wide variety of business needs to keep in touch with customers on-the-go without wood around a laptop just to check email, to load a virtual arsenal of customer support busting applications. Which leads me to present the "Google Maps Voice Search ", you'll love this, this is a killer

But first, I want to show how far technology has come. Google Voice is the brainstorm Laboratory of Google, who reigned in the form of a phone number that can be marked and used to make a technology speech recognition using Google Search. System Speech recognition in advanced GOOG-411, a free service that combined the system of voice recognition to date with companies such as Wall-Mart in Florida. " Not quite 118 118, but the technology through a pioneer of science fiction into the realms of reality is no small feat, think of Star Trek "communicators" beam me up Scotty! sorry.

So put your AZ and close the window of the car, there is no need to clear the throat and look for the elusive stranger who will direct you the wrong way, Google Maps Voice Search is here. Google Maps Voice Search, less than one AZ, faster than an AZ, easier than … you get the picture.

So What is Google Maps Voice Search? Google Maps Voice Search combines the usefulness of Google Maps with the software highly sophisticated voice recognition developed through Google Labs and then applied – with the technology becoming more affordable and convenient Blackberry. Google Maps has certainly come a long way from the new mobile platform for such software, Blackberry.

It's been claimed it is now possible to never be lost if you have a BlackBerry. In Ph.Creative, we do not like claims, so this put to the test and took our own Steve (AKA "Disco Steve") to the far reaches of nowhere (with blindfolded, of course), gave him a blackberry equipped with the latest Google Voice Search and …. Although not yet heard of it. Jokes aside the Blackberry came Google Voice Search formidably. Raising the GPS system for the first time, Steve was able to identify its position after waiting a minute or two, while software searched for satellites. Browsing Google Maps on Blackberry is a breeze using the stylus and Steve easily found their way to Google Maps Voice Search. Indeed, it was so simple to use we had to make it more difficult for Steve we set some challenges that had to be concluded without working much of a guide and a timely manner.

Instructions:

  • Buy a health store
  • Get a quote from the next GYM
  • Fine Dining Italian restaurant
  • Navigate to the base, using trains and buses

All this while using Twitter to keep us updated on-the-go

Steve was able to complete all their tasks in extreme attention to number 3 and never broke a sweat. Steve was able to use several key features of Google Maps Voice Search to complete their tasks.

Steve began his journey using the Blackberry GPS to find its location on Google Maps, then it used Google Maps Voice Search for Blackberry ask her to meet him healthy food "in" Halewood Liverpool, "he then proceeded to list, keeping us updated on Twitter. Software voice recognition worked a treat, but Steve had to try to find an enclosed space, because with the wind and the noise outside his voice not was recognized as easily. Google Maps Voice Search also incorporates Google Street View in doubles that made it even easier to visually recognize the environment and find the property I was looking for.

Can you image how much technology has come when you can be in the middle of a field, start talking about a handheld device and look panoramic views of sites that are specific to your needs? or you can just sit at home and ordering pizza. To be honest, whether it is so important, because what this technology really does is push the limits of what makes our lives easier. Today, BlackBerry is the top of the list tomorrow, floating plates.

So we can conclude that Google Voice Search in Blackberry Maps = Awesome.
