Google Android Hello World

The Computer Language I need to learn to create applications on Google Android?

I only took 2 semesters of C + + and only kept the memory of creation this stupid "Hello World" program. I want to create my own applications for Android phones, Google. Can you recommend computer languages I should be learning (like Java) to make it easy to create these applications?

I'm assuming that support Java, although the Linux that will run C + +, if it is built into the phone. I would like to use Java, though, because you will not need to cross compile.
