Htc Phones with Google
As the flagship current drive Android from HTC, the HTC Tattoo is organized to bring the program Android to a broader market, making it a very cost effective mobile phone compared to its precursors.
Tattoo HTC is about the same as the HTC Touch 3G only it operates on the program instead of the Android operating system Windows Mobile, but is still quite similar in terms of technical specifications. The HTC phone has a Tattoo 2.8 "240 x 320 pixel touch sensitive display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a member of the Global Positioning System and a digital compass, support 3.5G, Wi-Fi and microSD expandable storage.
Player Tattoo media can deal with most major formats, including MP3, AAC, MPEG4 and Windows Media. Taking 3.5 mm audio is also a nice and a great improvement on previous models that have the configuration of the USB headset. An FM radio, as well as for those who like to listen your favorite radio station.
Tattoo HTC have packed the standard package of Android and has worked his magic, making a unified instrument of control communications inter-group, and a variation of the TouchFLO interface on top. There are all sorts of Google package involved as well as Google Maps.
Design-wise Tattoo the HTC has a very elegant building. A very compact device measuring approximately 106 x 55 x 14mm and weighing about 113 grams. The 1100 mAh battery is quoted as good for 5 hours 40 minutes talk on 3G and 21 days standby, which will probably make a practical phone use every day.
At the heart this good mobile device is a Qualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz with 256 MB of RAM.
HTC say that the tattoo will be available in Europe in October, with other regions then later, perhaps with different UMTS frequencies.
There are but a few Android phones around now, the question is, is there really a mass "Market" for this type of mass market mobile Android? We just have to wait and see.
