iphone sprint network

The iPhone has been one of the best of lust "after" devices for a couple of years now. I had my iPhone 2G for more years and have pretty much felt like a "a device" man … although I also kept my Palm Treo as well as backup. However, I have recently begun to covet the new Palm for Pre a number of reasons, including WiFi woes of Apple and AT & T's outrageous "take it or leave it" pricing plans.

A pair weeks ago, I was on a trip to Cabo San Lucas, where I could get Wi-Fi in the lobby of the hotel. I thought, heck, that's ok, because I was on vacation anyway. One morning I crept downstairs to the lobby to check-up at work. I walked past other smugly clicking away on their laptops robust handling my Apple iPhone sexy. To my amazement over the next 20 years – 30 minutes I could not get a wireless connection.

What has changed from one end of the lobby (a great truth) to others, but still could not find a wireless connection. I even sat next to one of those "silly" owners of the notebook that she was happy working out on your laptop on WiFi. For the life of me I could not understand what was happening and finally gave up in disgust.

Later, I brought my laptop to the lobby (yes, I always bring it as a backup) and was connected to Wi-Fi in a split second. I do not think much of it for the rest of trip, and we went to another resource with the same problem.

Finally back home, began investigating the forums and discovered that the WiFi Woes Apple iPhone began with the upgrade to Mac OS 3.0. It seems that there is a problem of encoding, which Apple had tried to "keep quiet". Why? I ask. Fix it!

Now, my partner, recently bought a Palm Pre about 2 months ago. He was so excited about it and I said that all the great benefits of pre on the iPhone from Apple, including the ability to multi-task and the physical keyboard.

I had been a fan of Palm for many years, including, as I mentioned still have a Palm Treo 700p. Thus, having a pre Palm was not necessarily out of the question. But he was really making me consider the return ticket is the vision of my friend, who traveled to Thailand and Laos, without a problem at all in connection with your WiFi Palm Pre.

This problem WiFi Apple has not yet been fixed is just one of the reasons I am considering moving to the Pre Palm. The other main reason is the AT & T's outrageous pricing plans. They seem to have the attitude that "if you want the Apple iPhone, you have no choice. But we now have a choice.

You see, the rates AT & T a $ 30 data plan and a minimum of $ 5 for only 200 text messages per month. They recently came out with $ 15 data plan, but this is just to use your network VERY slow Edge, not 3G network. Sprint, on the other hand, has a $ 10 unlimited data plan and texting a $ 20/month for the whole family. If you do the math, you will see that AT & T really knows how to get people out.

If Steve Jobs wants the iPhone from Apple for the PC "new" they have to solve the problem WiFi, open the walls closed and begin to AT & T to open the eyes … there is a new real competitor out there.
