How do I get my iPhone 3G to stop thinking that I have an attachment on?
My iPhone 3G continues saying "This accessory is made to not work with the iPhone, but there is no accessory plugged in. It will not do any of the effects sound normal, and if I connect headphones headphones or speakers that work well. I rebooted several times now, and nothing is fixing it. Any ideas?
You may have some debris in the connector 30 pins on the bottom of the iPhone. Or blow to the fund or the use of compressed air to clean it out. Try pretty sure that if you do not spit in background, or have any liquid out of the air, it could come into contact with the LDI (liquid damage indicator) and void the warranty. If this does not fix the problem, export your contacts, calendars, photos, notes, music and Apps (who are not already on your computer) and restore the iPhone as new. If you still have problems, you are looking for a hardware problem and may need to look for a replacement. If you are still under some kind of guarantee (either your AppleCare or 1 years), then it will have no cost to you, provided there are no losses on net or other physical damage. If you are not within a security or if there is physical damage, the repair cost is $ 199.
