Iphone Video Converter Windows

This is really possible?

I saw a video and a guy was dumping everything out of an iPhone. Even the Kernel and BIOS! I do not know how he did it, but then he ported D @ MN Small Linux on it off a computer with Windows Vista. He ran Open Office and all these things. He was running Linux! Really! IT WAS AMAZING! He was not a request or something that was a real computer running Linux for real! Somehow, this portability process, he created something D @ MN Small Linux that allowed him to use the underpass on the iPhone, through a home-made converter, such as a USB port! He then hooked the iPhone up to a Laptop Linux (Debian) and the thing popped up as external hard drive. He used it as a real computer. He placed an Open Office document and edit it! The video was like an hour long. I watched it parts for a week. If I knew how this guy did it, I would try it. I do not know if it can still be used as a phone or not? I looked at the video for an hour, but was in a Linux site. Could not find it though!
