be an iPod nano 2G Hard Case fit iPhone and 2G?

I really want to get a slider case for my iPhone 2G, but can not find iv found a place for some iPod touch 2G, but I'm sure if it's the same size as the iphone 2g and it will fit my iPhone 2G. could someone help please if anyone knows wheres I could get a case slider black or white for my iPhone 2G to be great! oh iv been on the website incase theydont deliver to the United Kingdom and the apple stor only to have the 3G and 3Gs and iPod touch 2G hense why im asking about the size!

It will not fit. The iPod touch is much thinner than an iPhone.
