I asked one InvisibleSHIELD a week ago and it finally arrived. Before you install the skin, I exchanged my defective phone with a chrome substitute new for I have a phone clean without scratches.
The invisibleSHIELD comes very well packaged and includes a plastic skin protection, a plastic squeegee and a bottle of "Shield Spray ", which is mostly water. A sheet of perforated plastic has many individual parts of the skin at the site. Unfortunately, Zagg not include a caption, then you are left to figure out what goes where. Therefore, it would be a good idea to tear off pieces of skin of the individual and compare them to your phone before you start so you'll know which part goes where.
Installation is easy, but has time and patience. If you rush this process, you will have poor results. The total time from start to finish was about an hour and 15 minutes to install. First, you must remove the battery to avoid any shorts due to water used in the installation. Then figure out which piece of skin found the phone, remove the foil, and spray the solution Shield on both sides of the skin. The water protection solution prevents the skin from sticking to the phone contact. That way, you have some time to slide the skin in place. Apply the skin to the phone and use the squeegee to drive air bubbles out.
When done, let the phone dry for at least a few hours before inserting the battery. This way, the adhesive has time to set in. Once cured, the InvisibleSHIELD is firmly connected to the phone. The edges are peeling and I do not see that happening soon. If you have air bubbles, which you are required to have, do not worry, just let time do its work. It normally takes 1-2 days for the bubbles to clean themselves. I'm 20 hours on my skin again and I can still see the air bubbles. However, few clear and it does not seem so bad compared immediately after the installation.
The main tip I have is to work slowly. Make sure the edges line properly to avoid the swing. Also do not forget to stretch out the plastic too, the skin is manufactured with very tight tolerances. If you stretch the skin, especially when making the chrome plating, you may have to trim a small amount out where the play ends.
The skin itself is slightly textured and feels almost tacky for because of soft plastic. Some people do not like to feel this tacky, but I do, because it gives you a nice firm grip on the phone. Phones like the HTC Touch Pro tend to be a bit slippery and out of your hand as easily as a result. The sticky sensation in the skin also helps keep the phone from the slide, which makes it much more difficult to bring down a table. Sensitivity of the touch screen is still the same, as far as I can tell. I like the screensaver, it is slightly sticky and makes my finger "stick" to the screen instead of running around. One of the major annoyances I had with the phone was all fingerprints and grease stains on the fabric and chrome. With InvisibleSHIELD, impressions digital and grease are almost completely eliminated!
I was impressed with many skin surface covered. I would say at least 90% of the phone is covered by InvisibleSHIELD except for items such as the power button, volume controls, USB port, microphone, speaker, reset button, and opening pen. Major points of impact, as the sides and edges are fully protected and I am quite confident that the phone will survive a nasty fall without scratches or dents.
Finally, here are some photos of touch with the InvisibleSHIELD Pro installed. These photos were taken right after the installation, then you will notice some bubbles air. Be patient and air bubbles will clean itself up.
