Iphone Android Development

What is the platform for mobile development more marketable to learn?
I'm looking to enter the mobile application development. I'm wondering which platform will open more doors for me? (ie, Palm, Symbian, iPhone OS, Android, etc.) In addition, Java is generally "Write Once, Run Anywhere". Thus, besides the iPhone, is developing with J2ME pretty much the same about most SmartPhone OS's? or would it be necessary to learn a lot of proprietary code for each?
To make some serious money I go with the iPhone, but ….. to keep costs down for ya ($ 99 to get iPhone) I would go with Android as it is a platform that I feel all phones will be looking for since the iPhone is the BIG GUY on the block and seems quite unstoppable by all the others …. Android is the only potential after the development of the iPhone OS. Unfortunately J2ME is not used in the development for most if not all. However J2ME is Java and so much resembles in C / C + + syntax and fortunately almost all the developments for all platforms of worship C / C + + style syntax … therefore have a background knowledge for C / C + + (via Java) will really help you. But to me, although I knew C / C + + and J2ME I actually had to spend a month learning iPhone development from scratch since the encoding uses Objective-C syntax (which is C, but a little different). In general, it is very easy to enter. The problem with the development of the iPhone is that you both need to get a Mac to do (can not be done on a PC) or you can go to the VMWare Workstation and install MacOS on your PC through it (its complicated, but it works – saves having to buy a Mac). Then you to pay $ 99 for Apple to develop it. Android is free to start and develop your … very C / C + + style. Frankly, I prefer the development iPhone (very beautiful about the Android). Android users doesn't have much now and so do not expect any money from it, but they are serious contenders the battle of Apple. Besides Apple iPhone / iPod and development of Android … I just do not think it is worth developing for Android …. If things work for him will be the platform phones to notify each other in addition to Apple, which has enormous potential to earn in the future, so learning is not a waste at all. If you want learn to be safe and Android Apple … literally cover 100% of the market in 2 years.
