Iphone Official Unlock O2

IPhone 3G-How do I get one if I have one still has a year left to an existing O2 contract?

I try and get out of my contract (Sony Ericsson) and get an officer of the 3G iPhone or buy an unlocked iPhone 3G: What are the advantages / disadvantages and costs?

check with o2 I think you can simply pass contract for the iPhone, but do not get an unlocked can block a back-up if you update it.
