iphone virus jailbreak

So I was surprised to discover, to update the iPod touch is $ 20. I mean, is not the worst idea ever? I paid for my iPod touch, like everyone else, why should I have to pay to be updated.

The worst part of it, is that nobody buys a new iPod touch from now on will receive new applications for free, which is basically what the update is for. These new applications are: Maps, Mail, Stocks, Notes and Weather.

The good news is that if you have what they call a jailbroken iPod, you will be able to get these applications for free! Yay!

So how do you do it? First, you have to put in your firmware 1.1.1. If you are in 1.2.1, you will have to downgrade. To find out if you have the right firmware go into "Settings" and click on "About", then you'll see wat firmware you have. Here are the simple steps to do this:

1. Download the 1.1.1 firmware

2. Once downloaded set your iTouch into recovery mode (see below)

3. Hold SHIFT and click restore (go to iTunes)

4. Double-click the 1.1.1 file you downloaded

5. Wait, since work is done, you should have the right firware.

7. Now you can jailbreak and install applications on iPhone (using only my instructions)

For recovery Mode

1. Have your itouch on and connected to your computer

2. both hold the home sleep

3. When you see the apple release the sleep

4. Then you will see the iPod touch will tell you to connect it to your computer.

Once you're in the right firmware and validated it. You're going to go jailbreakme.com, download and install AppSnap. We work AppSnap and then go into install and install the following applications: system, openssh BSD launcher.

You will then be able to install applications you want on your iPod jailbroken.

I am not responsible for failure of software or other accidents, this article is clearly used to obtain information. I will follow with an article on how to install the iPhone apps on iPod touch.
