The cost to upgrade my Verizon phone to a BlackBerry without canceling the contract?

I currently have the LG VX5400 phone on Verizon's network, with a 2-year contract, but I want to update my phone to the BlackBerry 9630 Tour. I was wondering how much it would cost if there are any fees, I get the contract deal 2 years, ect. I'm not canceling my contract, but I just want a new phone on contract.

I would think that you might as well wait until the BlackBerry Storm 2 is released … or they seem to reduce the price by half now ..

Blackberry Storm vs iPhone 3G: Will Blackberry Rim to be iPhone Killer?

Recently I had published a side-by-side comparison of the iPhone 3G and T-Mobile G1 DVD converter which evoked an interesting debate. (from iphonehacks)

Here comes the other side by side comparison of Apple's 3G iPhone with RIM's BlackBerry Storm, which is considered as another iPhone Killer.

BlackBerry Storm is expected to be released some time in November exclusively by Verizon in the U.S. and Vodafone in the UK.

Unlike the T-Mobile G1 that we have mentioned before, BlackBerry Storm "steals" the design and looks a lot like the iPhone 3G. However it does not look as elegant as the iPhone 3G. It is a bit thicker (0.14inches more) and heavy (22g more) than the iPhone 3G. And, surprisingly, BlackBerry Storm does comes with Wi-Fi support or they probably Verizon's 3G network is good enough.

Screen BlackBerry Storm is also a little smaller (3.2 inches) for iPhone 3G (3.5), however, it boasts a slightly higher resolution (460×360 pixels) iPhone 3G (460×360 pixels).

Modem Capability
iPhone 3G does not support tethering and Apple tends to ban any applications in App Store that adds this capability. The only option you have is to jailbreak the iPhone and use jailbreak apps like PdaNet, BlackBerry Storm iPhoneModem etc., in the hands others, comes with built-in tie.
