Troubleshooting Bluetooth headset jargon?

This is my first Bluetooth headset, I'm trying it out, calling my phone home from my phone, but I heard a lot of static on the phone when I initiate the call. At the other end (I recorded a msg on my answering machine), not was static, but the sound was … Perhaps modulated, lower in height and kind of dark and garbled sounds – difficult to understand, anyway. What is normal? How do I troubleshoot that? Phone is a LG Trax with ~ 1 / 2 load, a headset, Motorola H721, beautiful fully charged. The phone was in my hand, not far away. I know I could try other equipment, but want to give this one a fair shot. Testing with a phone difft good idea, thank you anything else? Has anyone had static and discovered the problem or had to go away?

Well try this bluetooth from a different phone! if u face the same problem, go to the store where u bought it and get it replaced! shud b under warrenty anyways
