Blackberry Google Voice

blackberry google voice
will google voice work overseas?

im deployed overseas and i was thinking about getting an international plan with verizon but of course it could end up being expensive…then i heard about people using google voice and i was thinking maybe i could use it on a blackberry with its normal plan…do you think it will work? also im not sure if google voice goes by wifi or by signal recieved from towers…could someone clarify that for me?

It sure works as long as there are wifi/hotspots or other satellite signals. As long as you’re not in a remote area of an underdeveloped country, you should be fine.

Top 10 Reasons Why The Pre Palm Is My Favorite Cell Phone

The Pre Palm is simply in a class of its own and is still the coolest smartphone / PDA market. Here are My Top 10 reasons to choose a pre Palm.

When iPhone changed the world of cell phones, the Pre Palm is the best of breed phone encapsulate the User's business and consumption needs of a mobile device. It's more fun than a Blackberry and more serious than an iPhone. Here are the main reasons why I like to pre Palm:

  1. Palm offers a multitasking platform, mobile.
  2. The Pre Palm offers true of any function that you are, just type in your prompt (a feature others are now trying to mimic, but actually has been around for other Palm devices for some time).
  3. GPS navigation while in a call or access the Web at the same time too.
  4. The ability to withdraw all their contacts wherever they reside – Google, Outlook, etc. This is important because it makes it much easier to organize one's life than using a Blackberry and be confined to corporate email. The Pre Palm to receive e-mail from work, friends (separate private accounts) and so on, all in sync with Gmail using IMAP.
  5. An interface that still beats the iPhone and is a joy to use with the sweeping ingenious move that makes a hat look old iPhone.
  6. Google Apps for the Palm are becoming more available every day, and Palm is offering a gift card $ 100 Amazon to encourage developers to create apps. (Something that would not see Apple does.)
  7. A slide in the keyboard for the Corporate User which is much more comfortable, you need to use and faster than an iPhone virtual keyboard.
  8. The ability to back up to your desktop so that even if the servers Gmail down, as happened recently, you still have your data. Apple has just made available a free download to sync with your pre – http://tiny.cc/0cSCZ

10. Price! Yes price does not matter in this economy and the Pre palm is of great value at just under $ 80. Along with a contract more accessible monthly with Sprint, which is by far the best package price of the iPhone with AT & T. (With increasing competition, I hope the pre Palm to further lower prices in 2010.)

Palm has done a great job and a big back with two great phones. (Http: / / tinyurl.com / yhjmoon) However, the Palm is pre in a class of its own, quite simply, the coolest smartphone around.

I have a regular family plan from T-Mobile * I do not want nor have the T-Mobile Internet Plan / data * I heavily depends WiFi I want to take photo or record video and send it via email / text / line (if possible). I want to download and use many applications such Adobe Reader, Java applications, Google Maps, Youtube Mobile, etc. .. I want to see videos (ieWindow Media Player) from my memory card Micro SD. Must have Yahoo! AIM Instant Messenger. I currently have a HTC Shadow (1st generation) and I love it! However, it did not detect WiFi at all.
